In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 7, 2020, 39-year-old Edward Deshawn Dixon was found fatally injured in the Tower Grove East neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a call at approximately 3:30 a.m. regarding a person down in the 3100 block of Utah Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Dixon lying in the street, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, marking one of several violent incidents to occur ...
