In the autumn of 2010, the life of Cortez Lamorio Blakey, a 29-year-old male from Indianapolis, Indiana, was cut short. His passing occurred prior to his funeral services, which were held on Friday, October 8, 2010. The services took place at the Chapel of Peace at Lavenia, Smith & Summers Home for Funerals, with a visitation preceding the service. Mr. Blakey was laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery.
