In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Kansas City, Missouri, the life of 30-year-old Shawn Ricks, a male, was tragically cut short. On July 26, 2020, just after 1:30 a.m., police responded to a call about a shooting in the 3400 block of Indiana Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Ricks unresponsive on the sidewalk, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
