In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Old North St. Louis, a man's life was cut short by gunfire. James McGregory, a 43-year-old male, was discovered unresponsive inside a car on the 2500 block of Blair Avenue at approximately 1:30 a.m. on August 23, 2020. Police had been called to the scene and, upon their arrival, found McGregory, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
