In the early morning hours of December 13, 2020, the quiet of the West End neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri, was broken by violence. Corey Hutchins, a 40-year-old male, became the victim of a fatal shooting that would leave his community and loved ones seeking answers. Around 3:30 a.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call at the 5800 block of Cabanne Avenue.
