On the afternoon of October 26, 2021, law enforcement officials in St. Louis County, Missouri, were alerted to a violent incident in the northern part of the region. At approximately 4:45 p.m., officers from the North County Precinct responded to a call prompted by a ShotSpotter activation, a technology used to detect gunfire, in the 2000 block of Wilbert Drive.
