Justin Alexander King, a 28-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on November 3, 2021, by his white neighbor in a trailer park in Bourbon, Missouri. The incident occurred in broad daylight, and the initial police investigation suggested that the shooting was justified. According to the police, King was shot after allegedly forcing entry into his neighbor's residence, where an altercation ensued.
