On the afternoon of February 25, 2022, a violent incident unfolded in the Kingsway West neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, resulting in the untimely death of 24-year-old female Brittany Lynn Gregory. Police officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Greer Avenue around 3:20 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival at the scene, authorities discovered Gregory unresponsive in the driver's seat of a parked 2010 Nissan Rogue.
She had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the location, marking a tragic end to the young woman's life within the confines of the vehicle.
The investigation at the scene proceeded rapidly as the alleged perpetrator, 21-year-old Claytiana L. Bolar, was present when law enforcement arrived. According to police reports and charging documents, Bolar waited for officers to reach the scene and subsequently agreed to be interviewed. During questioning, she admitted to shooting Gregory. Detectives learned that the two women had been involved in an on-again, off-again romantic relationship and that the shooting had occurred during a heated argument inside the parked car.
