Patrick Ezzo, an 82-year-old man from Wilmington, New York, went missing on March 7, 1976, after a tragic motor vehicle accident (MVA). On that day, Ezzo was driving along Route 86 when his car plunged over a stone wall into the West Branch of the Ausable River. Witnesses to the crash reported seeing Ezzo's vehicle catapult through the air before landing in the icy river below.
