Timothy Daniel Moffitt, aged 20, went missing on June 25, 1986, when the skiff he was in capsized near Aleutkina Bay in Sitka, Alaska. Along with him, Kenneth Thor Osbakken, aged 23, also disappeared under similar circumstances. The incident occurred when the small boat they were on capsized, and while one person managed to swim to a nearby rock and was later rescued by a passing boat, both Moffitt and Osbakken were never seen again.
