On August 1, 1988, 22-year-old Antip Kuznetsov was working as a fisherman aboard the vessel, Yarmon, in the vicinity of the Kalgin Islands in Alaska. Tragically, he and another crew member, Petr Reutov, fell overboard into the waters of Cook Inlet. Both men were reported as missing and are now presumed to be deceased. The incident occurred approximately 12 miles west of Ninilchik.
