David Maynard, a 42-year-old from Texas, was last seen on August 3, 2024, near Homer, Alaska, during a boating trip with his family. The Maynard family, consisting of David, his wife Mary, and their two sons, were aboard a 28-foot aluminum boat when it capsized about 14 nautical miles west of Homer.
