Alberto Arias-Nunez, a 37-year-old father of three from Cypress, Texas, was last seen on December 13, 2017. He had traveled to Tyler, Texas, to meet a friend who ran a body shop and to potentially buy a car. After having lunch with the friend, Alberto was expected to return home, but he never arrived. His last contact with his family was a phone call to his wife, Bianca, telling her he had made it to Tyler. When Bianca could not reach him later, she reported him missing.
Several days later, on December 17, his vehicle was found abandoned about 75 miles from Tyler in the parking lot of a restaurant in Waskom, Texas. The vehicle was unlocked, but there were no immediate signs of foul play, although the circumstances of his disappearance were highly suspicious. Alberto’s family has expressed deep concern, as it was out of character for him to disappear without a trace, and they believe foul play might have been involved.
