Lance Michael Wilaby, 33, was last seen by a family member in Tyler, Texas, on June 15, 2025. On the day of his disappearance, Wilaby, who also goes by the last name Wilabay, had been evicted from his apartment by his brother. He reportedly left in his vehicle, a white 2004 Cadillac CSV, stating he would return the next day. Wilaby had been released from jail just two days prior to his disappearance.

Thirteen days later, on June 28, 2025, Wilaby's vehicle was found abandoned in Terrell, Texas. The car reportedly had the keys in the ignition and the right rear tire was missing. His cell phone was also found smashed. Wilaby's brother reportedly located the missing wheel in front of a house at 300 Crescent Drive in Terrell. Prior to his disappearance, Wilaby had told his brother he was going to the Highway 80 Rescue Mission.

The Tyler Police Department is investigating his disappearance. There was a report from his father in September 2025 that Wilaby had contacted his brother or daughter; however, this was later retracted in October, and he is still considered a missing person. Wilaby is described as a white male, 68 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The Tyler Police Department's case number is 25-011423.
