In the winter of 2018, concern began to grow for a young man from South Carolina who seemingly vanished. David Collin Barber, then 25 years old, was last seen on December 14, 2018, after leaving a relative's home in the Pacolet area. For those who knew him, his absence was a deepening mystery.
