Matteo Van-Dam, a 2-year-old boy from Sumter, South Carolina, was last seen on June 22, 2023, alongside his 20-year-old mother, Sophia Van-Dam. The pair disappeared after Sophia had been planning to return to her hometown of Beaufort. Family members last heard from her on June 24 when she was reportedly stressed and behaving unusually.
