On August 25, 2017, 52-year-old Tommy Lee Brailey was last seen leaving Brewer's Bar & Grill on Wesmark Boulevard in Sumter, South Carolina, around 2 a.m. He departed alone in his silver BMW 325i. When he failed to return home or report to work at Continental Tire, his family reported him missing on August 27, 2017.
