Dirk Schakenberg, a 24-year-old man, went missing on March 6, 1983, in San Francisco, California. He was last seen at Land's End, a scenic area overlooking the Pacific Ocean. According to his friends, Dirk fell into the ocean while at the site, and despite their attempts to save him, they were unsuccessful. His body was never recovered, and he remains classified as a missing person, presumed lost or injured.
