Jacob Niles, a 24-year-old from California, was last seen in August 2017 after returning to Maui, Hawaii. His family reported him missing after realizing they hadn't heard from him following his arrival on the island. Niles had previously lived in the area and was known to frequent the upcountry region of Maui. There is speculation that he may have been homeless at the time of his disappearance.
