Victoria Amairani Marquina, age 16, was last seen on October 6, 2019, in Sutter Creek, California. She was initially reported missing after attending a concert in Sacramento on October 5, 2019. Her mother found Victoria’s car, a black Honda Accord, parked near Main Street in Sutter Creek the next day and confronted her. Victoria indicated she was planning to move out, and this was the last time her family saw her.

Victoria attended a college class in Sacramento on October 8, and her phone was used the next day in San Joaquin County. However, on October 13, her car was found abandoned in Escalon, California. Investigations revealed she had been in the company of Joshua Martinez, a man she had met online. Martinez claimed to have last seen Victoria on October 6 when he dropped her off in Sutter Creek, but he later fled to Mexico, raising further suspicion. He was eventually arrested in connection with Victoria’s disappearance and charged with murder, but the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence.

Authorities continue to investigate, believing foul play was involved. Victoria’s case remains unsolved, and her family continues to seek answers.
