Rasheeyda Robinson Wilson, a 9-year-old girl, disappeared from San Diego, California, on July 15, 1991. On the day of her disappearance, she had been playing on the fire escape of a nearby building with a friend when the building superintendent asked them to move due to safety concerns. After returning home briefly, Rasheeyda left again at around 2:30 p.m., telling her mother she was going to walk downtown. She never returned, and by 8:00 p.m., her mother reported her missing.
