Joseph Robert Gries, a 52-year-old from rural Armstrong, Iowa, was last heard from on May 22, 2020, after speaking to a family member over the phone. He was reported missing later that day to the Emmet County Sheriff's Office. At the time of his disappearance, Joseph was described as 5'7" tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
