Fern Baird, a 63-year-old woman from Park City, Utah, disappeared on October 19, 2020, while hiking alone near the Prairie Creek Trailhead in Blaine County, Idaho. On that day, Baird signed the trail log at 1:17 p.m., indicating her intention to hike "to the lake and back," a ten-mile loop in the Sawtooth National Forest.
