David Michael Bowers Jr., an 18-year-old from Eldon, Missouri, went missing on September 12, 2021, while visiting Affton, a suburb of St. Louis. He was last seen with a group of friends after their car ran out of gas at a Family Dollar store. When police approached the vehicle, Bowers ran off and was not seen again.
