Ira Elizabeth Shaw, a 15-year-old, disappeared on June 19, 1978, in Austin, Texas. She was last seen leaving her summer job at the Lyndon B. Johnson Library on Red River Street around 5:00 p.m. Ira, who went by the nicknames "Liz" or "Ira-Liz," was supposed to walk to her aunt’s house to meet her mother, but she never arrived.
