Debra Kay Stewart, a 19-year-old communications student, was last seen on May 21, 1976, in Austin, Texas. She had been working at a Sears department store in South Austin, near Hyde Park, and left work early that day, reportedly to see a doctor as she had been feeling unwell due to a chronic kidney condition.
