Walter Westbrook was last seen during the late afternoon/early evening hours on September 8, 1994. Walter had stopped at the Highwayman Restaurant located at 3001 Highway 11 North to gas up a motor home as he was attempting to return to Strathroy, Ontario. Family members had followed him in their vehicle and took away his keys to prevent him from driving any further as they were concerned about his driving.
