On September 15, 2010, his 28th birthday, Glen Warren Neil Wesley, a patient at the Northeast Mental Health Hospital in North Bay, Ontario, was granted a short-term pass to leave the facility. It is believed that he may have taken a city bus to the downtown area of North Bay to celebrate his birthday. Wesley, who was being treated for schizophrenia and required medication, was expected to return but never did.
