On a late September day in 1984, a 23-year-old woman named Marianne Minor vanished from St. Thomas, Ontario. At the time of her disappearance, she was a resident of the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital. The last time anyone saw Marianne was on September 29, 1984, when she left her ward to go to the hospital's canteen. She was never seen or heard from again.
