In the spring of 2017, concern began to mount for 51-year-old Carolyn Mae Allen, a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina. Although some official records note her date of last contact as May 29, 2017, her family has clarified that she had not been seen since January 2016. She was last known to be in the 5000 block of Reagan Drive. It wasn't until July of 2017 that she was officially reported as a missing person to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
