On August 12, 2022, a 14-year-old boy named Deavon Squire was reported missing from Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. His adoptive mother discovered a note he had left, in which he expressed gratitude for her care and stated his intention to run away. At the time of his disappearance, authorities believed he might have been trying to find his biological mother. It was thought she could be residing somewhere in Philadelphia, though her exact location was unknown.
