In the late summer of 2022, a sense of unease settled over the family of David Osborn, a 56-year-old man from Kauaʻi. He had been vacationing on the island of Maui and his planned return home had passed without a word. His family's concern grew with each passing day, culminating in them officially reporting him as a missing person on Friday, September 9, 2022.
