John Flavin, age 44, was last seen on July 4, 2014, while camping at a location known as Plenty Kiawe near Mile Marker 30 along Highway 31, close to Hana, Maui. He had been camping with friends who last saw him asleep in his vehicle between midnight and 6:00 a.m. By 9:00 a.m., his friends realized he was missing, though his vehicle remained at the campsite. Flavin has not been seen or heard from since.
