In the quiet, residential community of Leilani Estates in Pahoa, Hawaii, a sense of concern grew for 55-year-old Francesca Anna-marie O’brien. Known to her loved ones as Francie or Franny, she was last seen at her home on Makamae Street around 9:30 in the morning on August 11, 2004. When she seemingly vanished without a trace, it was her housekeeper who first raised the alarm, reporting her missing.
