In the late summer of 1990, Jenny Sun-reisberg, a 28-year-old doctoral candidate at Harvard University, and her husband, Dr. Stephen Reisberg, 34, embarked on what should have been a memorable vacation. The newlyweds, who had been married for less than a year, left their home in the Boston area on August 27, 1990, with plans for a hiking trip in the Tetons.
