Miranda Conner, a 30-year-old mother of two, was last seen in Federal Heights, Colorado. The day before she went missing, she spoke with her mother on the phone. On February 3, 2023, Conner took an Uber from her home in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver to an apartment complex in Federal Heights where she was supposed to meet someone. She never returned home, and her roommate reported her missing to the Denver Police Department.
Her mother, Tabitha Spann, has expressed that her daughter would not have willingly left her children.
Initial reports from law enforcement stated that Miranda was last seen around 1:00 a.m. on February 3 in her Green Valley Ranch neighborhood. However, the last known location was later updated to the area of West 85th Avenue and North Pecos Street in Federal Heights. On February 4, 2023, at 4:04 a.m., her cell phone last pinged in a neighborhood near Thornton, close to 85th Avenue. The phone was later found abandoned by a civilian near the apartment complex where she was last seen and was turned over to the police for analysis. The investigation into her disappearance was initially handled by the Denver Police Department but was later transferred to the Federal Heights Police Department.
Due to the extended period of time she has been missing, the Federal Heights Police Department is now investigating her disappearance with the same protocols as a homicide investigation, although it is still classified as a missing person case. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance. Her family, including her mother who now cares for Miranda's two children, continues to hope for answers. A reward has been offered by Metro Denver Crime Stoppers for information that leads to finding Miranda.
