On January 23, 2020, 15-year-old Spencer Nobles, a student at Coleman Junior High School in Waxahachie, Texas, was tragically shot and killed inside a home in the 800 block of East Main Street. Police responded to a "shots fired" call around 10 p.m. and found Nobles with a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to Baylor Scott and White Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
