On April 18, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., 62-year-old Ernest Amaro was last seen in the 6100 block of Perlita Drive in East Austin, Texas. The Austin Police Department has since initiated a missing persons investigation, expressing significant concern for Mr. Amaro's well-being due to undisclosed health issues that may place him at risk.
