On April 18, 2025, 62-year-old Ernest Amaro disappeared from his home in Austin, Texas, sparking concern among his family and law enforcement. He was last seen at approximately 5 p.m. in the 6100 block of Perlita Drive in the eastern part of the city. Amaro, who is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds, has brown eyes and black and gray hair with a gray mustache and beard.
