Sidney Taylor, a 35-year-old man from Houston, Texas, was last seen on April 2, 2016, in Austin, Texas, where he and his longtime friend Krislyn Gibson had traveled to attend the Urban Music Festival. The two were seen together with Harvey Cyphers, a friend they had met up with, at a local club.
