On 2/13/20 at 1650hrs, a transient woman activated 911 to report human skeletal remains in a wooded area off the 6700 block of US 290 West in Austin, TX. The area was a known former transient camp. The woman brought a human femur out to show responding officers. The officers followed her across a shallow creek bed and found additional human remains within and around a blanket.
