Per the Austin Police Department, the decedent was reported as unidentified human skeletal remains whose race/age/gender were currently unknown and whose last known responsive time was unknown. On 05/03/2025, volunteers with were canvasing the area for the endangered Golden-cheeked Warbler. On 05/03/2025 at approximately 0829hrs, one of the volunteers observed what appeared to be as a human cranium beyond a barbwire fence.
