In the autumn of 2023, concern began to grow for Gloria Dawn Brewer, a 50-year-old woman from the Makawao area of Maui, Hawaii. A family member, who had not seen her since that fall, officially reported her missing on May 28, 2024. The last known phone contact Gloria had with her mother was sometime between October and November of 2023. She was last seen by a former roommate in the Pukalani area, on foot, around October of that same year.
Since that time, there have been no definitive sightings or contact with Gloria, leaving her family, children, and friends deeply worried.
Gloria is described as a Caucasian female, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 145 and 155 pounds. She has distinctive strawberry blond or red/auburn hair and green eyes. One identifying feature is a turtle tattoo on her left foot. At the time of her disappearance, it is unknown what clothing or footwear she was wearing. Friends have also mentioned that she may use her maiden name, Gloria York. She is originally from Texas and was living in Haiku, Maui, around the time she was last heard from.
The Maui Police Department is actively investigating Gloria's disappearance and is asking for the public's assistance with any information regarding her whereabouts. They have circulated her description and the circumstances of her last known movements in the hope that someone may have seen something. The case remains open as law enforcement continues their efforts to locate her. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Maui Police Department. The lack of any contact or sightings since the fall of 2023 has created a prolonged period of uncertainty and distress for all who know and care for Gloria.Last Seen: Oct 15, 2023
