Therese Rose Vanderheiden-Walsh, a 5-year-old girl, was abducted on June 22, 1990, from a daycare center in Kaneohe, Hawaii. At the time, her father, Francis Walsh, had sole custody of her following a bitter divorce and custody battle with her mother, Merle Vanderheiden.
