In the late summer of 2024, a 57-year-old man named Dirk Glover was residing in Avon, Connecticut, where he was providing care for a homeowner. Mr. Glover was last seen on August 31, 2024. For those who knew him well, it was not initially alarming that he might be out of touch for a period. He had a known pattern of occasionally disappearing into the woods for what he considered an extended period of time.
