On a summer day in Honolulu, Hawaii, a 20-year-old man named Adrian Cheong went missing while boogie boarding off the shores of Kuhio Beach Park in Waikiki. He was last seen in the water, reportedly struggling to get back to shore amidst six to eight-foot surf. Despite his apparent distress, he never emerged from the water. At the time of his disappearance, Cheong was wearing green shorts. He is described as being of Asian descent, with brown hair and brown eyes.
