On a tragic day in August 2024, 65-year-old David Murdock, a resident of Knoxville, Pennsylvania, was swept away by severe floodwaters. The rising waters were a result of Tropical Storm Debbie, which caused Troups Creek, a body of water bordering his property in Deerfield Township, to overflow.
