On a summer day, July 15, 2012, 64-year-old David Doyle Frasier found himself in an unforeseen predicament. While traveling through Pennsylvania, his car sputtered to a halt, having run out of gasoline along the northbound side of Interstate 99 in Blair County. The vehicle was located near mile marker 16.5, a stretch of highway that would become the starting point of a long and perplexing mystery.
