Anthony Ross Allen, a 16-year-old from Fort Smith, Arkansas, was last seen on October 1, 1978. At the time, he was a sophomore at Southside High School and had a history of occasionally leaving home for short periods. However, his disappearance in 1978 raised alarms when he failed to maintain contact with his family, something he had never done before.
