Tammy Fields, a 21-year-old woman, was last seen on January 12, 1987, in Kansas City, Missouri. She left her apartment in the area of Topping Avenue and St. John Avenue at approximately 1:40 p.m. to run an errand, telling her roommate she would return by 4:00 p.m. Tammy had plans to attend a wrestling match later that evening and was scheduled to travel to Pensacola, Florida, the following day. However, she never returned home and did not make it to her planned destination in Florida.
