In the summer of 1993, a 70-year-old woman named Valerie Wojcik vanished from her home in Phoenix, Arizona. She was last seen on June 29, 1993, at her residence near the intersection of 29th Street and Broadway Road. Valerie, who also went by the name Waleria, was a white female with gray hair and blue eyes, standing between 5'1' and 5'3' and weighing around 100 to 110 pounds.
